Corning Gilbert - high performance push-on connectors

Corning Optical Communications' product group "Microwave Gilbert Push-On Interconnects" continuously meets customer requirements for high-performance interconnects with its coaxial push-on interconnects — known worldwide to set the industry gold standard for performance. Initially developed for demanding military applications, these systems are now used in satellite, wireless, test and measurement, and telecommunications applications.

All Corning microwave interconnect products are non-ITAR and free from stringent export regulations. They are either EAR99 or ECCN: 3A611.y.1. (3A611.y.1. requires a license only for export to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, the People's Republic of China, Russia, and Venezuela.)

	GMS^®Blind Mate SMA replacements up to 23GHz The GMS connectors are 50 Ohm blind-mateable with similar size and power handling capabilities as the SMA type connectors. They have properties that make them ideal for multiple mate and backplane applications. GMS connectors offer excellent mechanical and electrical performance characteristics over the range of frequencies from DC to 23 GHz. They offer designers a durable alternative to OSP™ and SMA connectors. Cable connectors, flange mounts and loads are available.
	GPO^® Blind Mate Microwave Interconnects up to 40GHz The GPO is Corning's first 'push on' sub-miniature high frequency connector system. The GPO design is built around a floating 'blindmatable adapter', often referred to as a bullet, which is captivated between two panel or circuit mounted receptacles called 'shrouds'. This floating interconnect system enables the system designer to work with looser alignment tolerances, easing the manufacturing by lowering assembly time and complexity. Additionally, this push on design eliminates the need for large and cumbersome nuts associated with SMAs and other threaded type connectors. The result is a compact interconnect which provides a designer with the flexibility required for today's dense package configurations. Corning supplies a huge variety of cable connectors, edge and flange mounts, interconnects and PCB mounts.
	GPPO^® Blind Mate Microwave Interconnects up to 65GHz The GPPO interconnect series offers an even higher frequency push-on interconnect system than Corning's GPO series. The GPPO is considerably smaller than the compact GPO design, and is used in many space, military and commercial applications where vibration resistance, compact design and high performance are essential. In addition to a large variety of cable connectors, edge mounts, flange mounts, hermetic shrouds, interconnects and multiposition blocks are available.
	G3PO^™Blind Mate Microwave Interconnects up to 100GHz The G3PO interconnect series offers a blind mate interconnect that has a center-to-center spacing of 0.085 in and weighs just .20 mg. This series is designed to accommodate both radial and axial misalignment with negligible voltage standing wave radio (VSWR) change to ensure high performance in high-stress environments. Within this series exist adapters to SMA, 2.4 mm, and 1.85 mm. Cable connectors, edge mounts, interconnects, loads and multiposition blocks are available.
	G4PO^™Blind Mate Microwave Interconnects up to 60GHz The G4PO interconnect series offers a blind mate interconnect that has a center-to-center spacing of 0.070 in and weighs just 5.0 mg. This series is designed to accommodate both radial and axial misalignment with negligible voltage standing wave radio (VSWR) change to ensure high performance in high-stress environments. Within this series, we also offer adapters available to SMA, 1.85 mm, and 2.92 mm. Cable connectors, edge mounts, hermetic shrouds, interconnects and multiposition blocks are available.
